Vanilla Pancake

This recipe is easy! The pancakes aren’t too sweet and are lightly scented with vanilla. They are delicious and they are easily adapted to what you have in your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 pc. egg
  • 1 ½ tsp vegetable oil (canola oil)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Unsalted butter for frying

Directions

Combine and sift dry ingredients. Set aside.

In a bowl, mix egg, canola oil and water.

Combined dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Do not over mix.

In a pan, add the butter under low to medium heat.

Pour in the batter and fry until golden brown.

Turn the pancake and fry the other side.
